About

A founder by conviction

“I founded the Colla Parte Foundation because I regard culture as an indispensable part of being human.”

Christine Cerletti founded the Colla Parte Foundation out of a deep understanding that artistic excellence in classical music is rarely commercially viable. As Chair of the Board of Trustees, she has accompanied the Foundation since its inception with personal commitment and undivided attention.

Her approach is radically focused on the artist: the Foundation follows what the supported musician needs—not the other way round. This attitude is not modesty, but conviction.

For Christine Cerletti, artistic freedom is the highest principle—not merely as a guiding ideal, but as a practice lived in every project. The Colla Parte Foundation invests exclusively in projects that would be difficult or impossible to realise commercially.

Personal contact with the artists the Foundation accompanies is especially close to her heart. Not as a patron supporting them from above, but as a companion who walks alongside the artist on their own path.

“I use my financially privileged position to support different areas of society. Because I regard culture as an indispensable part of being human, and because of my exceptionally strong connection to music, I founded the Colla Parte Foundation.”
