A photographic book about Jonas Kaufmann—on stage, behind the scenes and through photographs by Christine Cerletti.
The book portrays the star tenor in his roles, but also reveals the person Jonas Kaufmann away from the stage. In its first project, the Foundation was not only a supporter and facilitator, but also played a small creative part: several of the photographs in the book were contributed by Christine Cerletti, Chair of the Board of Trustees. The idea emerged in 2015, work began in earnest in summer 2017, and the book was published in October 2019.
